Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Maintenance Specialist to support our senior living communities. The role requires Denver residency with up to 95% travel across Southern California, and compensation in the $75,000–$85,000 range.

The incumbent will perform as Maintenance Director in their absence, directing maintenance operations, staffing, and safety, with a focus on preserving safe, clean, and comfortable properties for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in residential maintenance/housekeeping handling upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing and structural matters.
• Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management, preventive maintenance software, and basic computer skills.
• 1+ year experience supervising and managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, perform and direct maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the property.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping departments to keep the property safe, clean and comfortable.
• Hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate, monitor performance, schedule and supervise department staff.
• Make recommendations to the Executive Director regarding staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands and terminations.
