Job summary

McClatchy Company is seeking a Merchandiser Lead to service multiple stores in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Travel between accounts is required and compensated; on-site role with a 32–40 hour workweek.

The position reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising and requires 6 months to 1 year of merchandising experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and reliable transportation. Proficiency with Movista, Word and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months to 1 year merchandising experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and stay detail-oriented.

• Adherence to attendance policies and reliable transportation.
• Experience with Movista and/or other company-required tools; proficient with Word/Excel/email.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail environments following store and corporate guidelines.
• Service assigned stores on scheduled weekdays and seek supervisor approval for hours outside schedule.
• Accurately record hours and other information using designated systems.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor and other personnel before performing additional duties.
• Assist with updates to planograms and displays as required.
