Job summary

The McClatchy Media Company seeks a Merchandiser Lead to service products across Grand Rapids-area stores. This full-time, on-site role involves frequent travel between accounts and teamwork under the Supervisor of Merchandising.

You will manage merchandising tasks, maintain schedules, record hours, and ensure store compliance while communicating clearly with store personnel. The position requires 6 months to 1 year of merchandising experience and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year merchandising experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Able to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Adherence to attendance policies and reliable transportation.
• Experience with Movista and Microsoft Word/Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• 75% Merchandising: merchandise products effectively, replenish stock, and organize displays following guidelines.
• Service stores on scheduled days and seek supervisor approval for overtime or hours beyond schedule.
• Record hours and other information accurately using designated systems.
• Communicate with store personnel and supervisor for duties not listed.
