Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Merchandiser Lead to service products in multiple stores and travel between accounts. This on-site role is full-time and non-exempt, with an average 32–40 hours per week and travel up to 100% of the territory.

You’ll supervise merchandising tasks, train staff as needed, and ensure planograms are followed while maintaining strong retailer relationships. A background in merchandising and solid communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months-1 year merchandising experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• 75% Merchandising: merchandise products, replenish shelves, and display cases per guidelines.
• Serve assigned stores on schedule and record hours accurately.
• Train Merchandisers and support supervision duties as needed.
• 100% travel across territory with morning to evening assignments.
