Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking travel-ready technicians to join our field operations across North America. You’ll support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and collaborate with engineers to ensure systems work flawlessly when it matters most.

We offer a four-week paid training, a starting salary of $60,000–$75,000 plus per diem, mileage, and performance bonuses. A technical degree or 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking required.
• Willing to travel and work on site across multiple locations in North America.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in related field or technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Typical travel rotations follow a days on/off schedule: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off.
