Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is hiring for a travel-focused field role with four-week paid training to prepare technically skilled individuals for the road. You will support data center startups, lead warehouse and manufacturing system startups, and work with engineers on-site across North America.

Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience. Per diem, mileage, and bonuses accompany the package as you build a dynamic career on the move.

Qualifications

• Must love travel and be comfortable being away from home on rotation.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking basics.
• Adaptable, perseverant, and able to handle changes and challenges.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport; relocation assistance available.
• Personal vehicle needed within 45 days of employment; authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3+ years in a related field such as electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site systems.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to keep progress visible.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off; each project varies.
