Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Travel Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing services across facilities. You will supervise the Nursing Department, ensure quality standards, and manage operations in the absence of the Administrator.

RN licensure in the practice state is required, with a preferred Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing. We value leadership, flexibility, and a passion for senior care.

Qualifications

• As a RN with an active license in the practicing state, you will lead Nursing Services.
• Associate or Bachelor in Nursing preferred for clinical and leadership duties.
• Two years of DON-level experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC required.
• Experience in travel or multiple centers is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Administer and manage Nursing Services per physician orders and resident needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department.
• In the Administrator's absence, assume center operations responsibilities.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Travel Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Two years of experience in a DON role required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
