Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Travel Director of Nursing (DON) | RN to lead Nursing Services for residents under physician orders, ensuring high-quality care and 24/7 supervision. If you bring passion for senior care, leadership, and a strong DON background, we want you on our team.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state you practice.
• Two years of experience in a DON role.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physicians' orders and residents' total needs.
• 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
• In the absence of the Administrator, assume responsibility for center operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Travel Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Two years of experience in a DON role required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
