Job summary

Tutera Senior Living and Health Care seeks a Travel Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee nursing services across multiple facilities. You will supervise the Nursing Department 24/7, ensure quality care, and step in for center operations when the Administrator is unavailable. Travel is required to facilities in St.

Louis, Springfield, and Kansas City, MO. The role requires an RN license in the practicing state, relevant LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience, and a preferred nursing degree.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the practicing state (MO).
• Two years of experience in a DON role.
• Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality of care.
• Assume center operations in the absence of the Administrator.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Travel Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Two years of experience in a DON role required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
