Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Dimensional Control Surveyor to join our Industry Services surveying team in Houston. The role involves onsite dimensional control surveying and laser scanning with travel at least 50% to client sites.

Working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional OT. Responsibilities include performing surveys with minimal supervision, preparing drawings/reports in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word, and mentoring trainees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of survey experience required.
• Experience with Topography, GPS, Laser Scanning, and 3-D calculation/drawing software.
• Mid-level knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
• Able to perform surveys, calculations, drawings, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a survey team with minimal supervision.
• Carry out most Dimensional Control and Laser Scanning tasks.
• Prepare survey drawings and reports using AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
• Train and assess trainee personnel.
• Perform piping spool surveys and simple DC projects.
• Liaise with client representatives and draft final reports.
