Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Survey Technician I to join the Survey Services team in Houston, TX. The role requires travel at least 50% of the time, with a schedule from 8 am to 5 pm and occasional overtime.

Base wage ranges from $20.00 to $28.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k). You will engage in dimensional control surveys, topographical surveys, drone surveys, metrology, 3D modelling, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable record.
• Aptitude for math, computer technology, construction and reading plans.
• Willing to learn and take direction from senior Surveyors.
• Comfortable working in oil & gas industry and offshore/onshore environments.
• Must be able to travel as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Dimensional Control Survey in onshore and offshore oil & gas fields.
• Conduct Topographical Surveys.
• Perform Drone Surveys.
• Apply Metrology techniques.
• Utilize Terrestrial Laser Scanning.
• Operate Mobile Scanning systems.
• Create 3D modelling.
