Job summary

Intertek is seeking a 3D Laser Scan Technician to join our Industry Services team in Houston, TX, traveling to client sites to perform dimensional control and laser scanning tasks. The role operates within a survey team, with duties ranging from preparing scans to reporting final results.

The candidate should be comfortable with outdoor work, heights up to 200 feet, and travel requirements, while supporting trainees and liaising with clients to ensure accurate deliverables.

What are we looking for?

The 3 D Laser Scan Technician will perform multiple inspection tasks within a Dimensional Control and Laser Scanning Team, as required within general survey work activities. This position will travel to client sites to perform inspections.

Shift/Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm CST, Monday through Friday

What you’ll do:

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record is required
• Must be able to work in outside environments onshore/offshore
• Must be able to work at heights up to 200'
• Competence in operating a Laser Scanner
• Must be comfortable with written and oral communication skills and well organized
• Must be prepared to travel
• Flexibility with work schedules and hours
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
