Job summary

Intertek Global is seeking a Survey Technician to travel to client sites in Houston, TX, performing dimensional control surveys, topographical and drone surveys. The role requires readiness to travel up to 50% and works across onshore/offshore oil and gas environments.

The position offers a 8am–5pm schedule with overtime possibility and a base wage of $20–$28 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record required.
• Aptitude for math, computer technology, construction, reading plans, etc.
• Willing to learn and take direction from senior Surveyors.
• Comfortable in oil and gas environments, onshore and offshore.
• Structured on-the-job training to develop surveying knowledge and skills.
• Be mindful of safety practices and policies at all times.
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate.
