Amerit Fleet Solutions in Memphis, TN is seeking a Travel Diesel Technician/Mechanic to service and repair heavy- and medium-duty fleet vehicles while on the road. This role features 100% travel with a Monday–Friday schedule, and some weekend travel.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox for the role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to pass a DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to meet safety and compliance standards.
Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
Travel 100% and adapt to shifting schedules as needed.
