Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Regional Float Staff Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on a travel basis across assigned facilities. You will supervise Patient Care Technicians, assess patient needs, and coordinate with physicians and the team to ensure treatment plans are followed and documented accurately.

The role requires current nursing licensure, 1+ year medical-surgical experience, and dialysis/ICU exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current state licensure.
• Minimum one-year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis and ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs safe and effective dialysis nursing care per facility policy and regulatory standards.
• Monitors patient status, adjusts treatments under physician direction, and documents care.
• Educates patients on ESRD, dialysis therapies, fluid/dietary compliance, and medications.
• Coordinates with healthcare team to ensure timely orders and patient safety.
