Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, IL. The role involves preparing the OR, maintaining sterile conditions, and supporting the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1 year CVOR experience and current BLS. CST or equivalent certification is preferred, with licensure reimbursement and travel benefits offered by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments to maintain flow.
• Maintain sterility and adhere to infection control standards.
