Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Augusta, GA. The role supports cardiovascular surgical teams, performing sterile prep, instrument handling, and intraoperative assistance.

Requirements include one year CVOR experience and current BLS; CST certification preferred, other licenses may be required. The position features 36 hours/week, 12-hour days, and travel compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR surgical tech experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards.
• Prepare cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures and equipment.
