Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Ocala, Florida. The position involves 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration, with travel benefits and client facilities across the nation.

Qualifications include a Surgical Technology credential or equivalent experience, CPR certification, and CVOR experience in open-heart procedures. Medical benefits and per diem arrangements are offered through MedPro, a Joint Commission-certified provider.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, 2nd circulating, and Heart Holder roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies for surgeries and sets up instruments.
• Scrubs for surgical procedures and performs instrument and sponge count.
• Obtain specimens and hand to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover time and participates in on-call schedule.
