Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Quality CVOR Technician for a contract with a leading hospital client. The role focuses on CVOR instrumentation and cardiac procedures, with duties spanning scrubbing, circulating, room setup, and on-call participation.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience.
- Current CPR provider card.
- Minimum of 18 months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart care.
- Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures.
- CABG and cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs treatments per protocols.
- Functions in scrubbing, 2nd circulating, and 3rd person/Heart Holder roles of the CVOR.
- Picks supplies for surgeries, sets up instruments and scrubs for procedures, and performs instrument and sponge counts.
- Obtains specimens and hand over to circulating nurse, verifying location.
- Facilitates room turnover time.
- Participates in department on-call schedule.
