MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The role involves 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, with travel assignments and housing arrangements through MedPro Experience®.

Stay compliant with CVOR techniques and ensure accurate instrument counts and room turnover. This travel position requires a Surgical Technology credential and CPR, with CVOR experience or orientation in open-heart procedures.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Functions in scrubbing, 2nd circulating, and 3rd person/Heart Holder roles of the CVOR.
• Picks supplies for surgeries, sets up instruments and scrubs for procedures, and performs instrument and sponge counts.
• Obtains specimens and delivers to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in department on-call schedule.
