Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Travel CVOR Technologist for a contract in Florence, South Carolina. This role supports CVOR procedures, working 40 hours per week in days, with opportunities for travel across facilities.

The position requires Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience, CPR certification, and CVOR experience. This urgent travel assignment includes housing options and benefits through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs in, assists as 2nd circulator, and Heart Holder as needed.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, scrubs for procedures, and maintains instrument/sponge counts.
• Obtains specimens and hands to circulating nurse for documentation.
