Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Arlington, Texas. The role entails setting up the OR, passing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CVOR experience and a current BLS certification; CST or equivalent certification is preferred. Travel benefits and ongoing clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for readiness.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and the team for coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards throughout procedures.
