Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or CVOR-focused CST with strong sterile technique.
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR tech experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
- Working knowledge of cardiovascular instrumentation and OR safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration with surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain CVOR equipment and sterile fields.
- Assist surgical team during cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
- Monitor patient condition in the OR and respond to changes.
- Support surgeons and nurses by ensuring instruments are ready.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and hospital protocols.
- Document activities and maintain accurate records.
