Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to support patient care in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR). The role involves assisting nurses and physicians, maintaining instrument sets and equipment, and ensuring infection control and life safety standards are upheld.

Day shift, regular hours, and opportunities for mentorship. Requires BLS, CST or NCCT credentials, with prior CVOR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or 10 years of work experience.
• Six months CVOR surgical technologist experience or two years surgical technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and plans individualized patient care for CVOR cases.
• Runs the table and assists the surgeon with aseptic technique.
• Maintains organized work environment and cares for specialty equipment.
