Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist with expertise in cardiovascular procedures. This role involves participation in surgeries related to cardiology, requiring a solid understanding of various specialties.

Travel assignments with rotating shifts including days, evenings and nights are required. Call and weekend availability is mandatory, with a 30-minute call response time; the position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, plus travel

Qualifications

Certification from NCCT or NBSTSA is mandatory; no other certifications accepted.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR); 3 years preferred.
At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years.
Recent travel experience (minimum of 1 year).
Strong experience in cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplant procedures.
Versatile in other surgical specialties such as General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Maintain the sterile field and manage surgical instruments.
Collaborate with surgeons and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Prepare patient and equipment for surgery; ensure all necessary supplies are available.
Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
