Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist for a Cardiovascular OR position in Kalispell, MT. Requires 2 years CV OR experience and CST certification. BLS and CST certification are required; license if applicable.

You will work in a 16-room CVOR with a team including surgeon, first assist, PA, RN and perfusionist, using Meditech EMR for documentation. Shifts are 8 hours (0600/0700), with on-call rotation every third day and every third weekend, and potential travel considerations for

Qualifications

• 2+ years cardiovascular OR experience
• BLS and CST certification required
• License required if applicable
• Comfort working across CV specialties (General, Robotics, Neuro, Pediatrics, Ortho, Trauma, Urology)
• Experience with CV procedures (CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR)

Responsibilities

• Manage CVOR within a 16-room department
• Handle 1–2 CV cases per day
• Care for patients undergoing CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR and related procedures
• Collaborate with surgeon, first assist, PA, RN, perfusionist
• Document using Meditech EMR
• Float to Main OR and OR North as needed
• 8-hour day shifts, 0600/0700 starts
• On-call rotation every 3 days and every 3 weekends
• Respond within 30 minutes for calls
• May serve as backup trauma call and work on-call during holidays
• Department supported by nursing and surgical team
• Fast-paced unit culture

• RTO requires manager approval
