Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a CVOR role at a Level II trauma center. Requires BLS, CST certification, and CVOR experience with vascular/cardiovascular procedures. Travel experience is required and local candidates within 75 miles are discouraged.

The position is within a 426-bed facility in a Level II trauma setting, with day shifts, potential for cardiac call, and travel reimbursement. ESL vaccines and compliance are needed for assignment.

Qualifications

• BLS and CST certification required.
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience (1.5 years for Level I trauma or travel background).
• Travel experience required.
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred.
• Experience with vascular, cardiovascular and thoracic procedures listed in the ad.
• 1 professional reference required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support CVOR unit in cardiovascular, vascular and thoracic cases.
• Work day shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with cardiac call and weekend coverage.
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation.
• Collaborate with Yale New Haven Health System facilities and maintain compliance with vaccines.
