American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires AZ or compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years of RN experience. You will handle high-acuity cardiovascular cases and collaborate with CSTs and a charge nurse.

Shifts are 4x10 hours, with mandatory call 1-2 nights per week and possible weekend call. Travel assignment spans 13 weeks with comprehensive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or Compact RN license; no pending licenses.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Maintain sterile field; Foley and central line dressing changes.
• Pass Day 1 Foley exam and SIMs Lab competency.
• Two professional references: last 12 months supervisor, last 3 years peer.
• Copy of driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for CV, vascular, thoracic, and transplant cases.
• Work with CSTs and a dedicated charge nurse on the unit.
• Complete SIMs Lab training on Foley catheter insertion and central line care.
• May be required to work on-call during holidays.
