Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse CVOR RN for a travel assignment in Tampa, Florida. The position is a 13-week travel role with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, days available. ACLS and BLS required, 1–2 years of acute care RN experience preferred.

As CVOR RN, you will circulate for cardiothoracic surgeries and support physicians and staff. The role emphasizes patient care, aseptic technique, OR coordination, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Travel assignment duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care as circulating RN in cardiothoracic surgeries.
• Assist physicians and maintain aseptic technique in the operating room.
• Coordinate OR with respect to equipment, sterility, and supplies.
• Monitor patient status, apply dressings, and administer prescribed meds.
