Cross Country Nurses in Springfield, IL is seeking a Travel Nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment starting 10/12/2026. The ideal candidate holds a valid Illinois RN license, BLS, and has cardiovascular, thoracic, or vascular surgery experience. The role requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts.

On-call 1–2 nights weekly and every 5th weekend is expected. Major responsibilities include assisting with complex cardiovascular procedures in a Level I trauma setting and strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license or in application process; BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years in cardiovascular, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
• Experience in trauma and Level I trauma centers preferred; complex CV procedures (CABG, TAVR, aneurysm repair).

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular, thoracic, and endoscopic procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including laser safety and universal protocol.
