Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS/ACLS certification. The role includes a 13-week assignment with a day shift from 07:00 to 17:30 and on-call duties. Local candidates within certain states may be considered.

Travel and licensure reimbursements, a housing allowance, and benefits are provided to support travel nurses in this CVOR role.

Qualifications

Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required for direct patient care.
Current ACLS certification required.
Minimum of 1 year CVOR nursing experience required.
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room.
Surgery department setting with focus on cardiovascular OR procedures.
Day shift schedule 07:00–17:30.
13-week assignment length.
On-call requirement of ~15 shifts per month, including 2 weekends per month.
One holiday rotation required per contract.
Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations.
Local candidates accepted in select states: CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA.
First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
