Screen if no previous Level I Trauma experience.**Charting System Experience Preferred:** Cerner**Preferred Experience:** Trauma Level I Experience**Travel Experience Required:** Yes**Skills Required:** Aortic Aneurysm repair, CVOR, Heart, Lung**Clinical Experience Required:** Heart & lung transplants, aortic dissections, ECMO**Floating Requirements:** Float to other OR specialties**Call Requirements:** Approximately 100 hours every 6 weeks, including 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning)**Days Worked Restrictions:** Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays**Travel University Accreditation:** Must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation**Supervisor References Required:** 2**Local Residency Policy:** IN residents are considered local; Eligible local travelers will be offered the in-state rate at lower bill rate**Floating Requirement for All Travelers:** Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital(s) nearby**Background Policy:** Must be noted prior to submission for approval**Travel Eligibility Reset Policy:**- Out-of-state residents: 3 month/90 day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler's year mark- In-state residents: 6 month/180 day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler's year mark**IU Health Policy:**- Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (exceptions for Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers)
