Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 2 Years of Level I Trauma experience required.
• Position requires 3 years of overall experience.
• Trauma Level I Experience is a hard requirement.

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• ACLS* and PALS* are additional certifications listed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
• Surgical skills in various procedures (e.g., Arthroscopy, Craniotomy, Colorectal Robotic Surgery, etc.) are listed.

Licensure:

• An in-state license (IN) is required and must be in hand before submission.

Special Requirements:

• Circulate experience required; Scrub experience is preferred.
• OR RNs need to be well-rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant.
• Call shifts are required: 6 call shifts in a 6-week period.

Additional Notes:

• First-time applicants are accepted.
• Pending license applications are not accepted.
• Scrubbing equipment provided by IU Health.
• Applicants must be able to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
