Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Tyler, TX. The role focuses on direct and perioperative patient care within the CVOR, collaborating with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including open and closed heart surgeries
• Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care
• Position patients safely using approved devices to enable optimal surgical exposure
• Provide post-surgical care coordination, including patient handoff to the recovery team
• Ensure sterile procedures are followed throughout surgery
