Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, IN seeks a Travel CVOR CST for a 13-week on-site Open Heart assignment. Day shift, 6:45A-3:15P, with 12-bed unit, 1:1 patient ratios and complex case mix including Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General and Gyne surgeries.

Requirement includes CST NBSTSA and BLS, Cerner EMR, and 2 years' experience. Local travel is not accepted; drivers license and address must match ID for submission.

Qualifications

• Certified CST with NBSTSA.
• BLS.

• Open Heart experience required; scrub for Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci, General and Gyne.

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS

• Certified ST (CST) NBSTSA

REQUIRED SKILL: Must have OPEN HEART EXPERIENCE, Must be able to scrub Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General, and Gyne.

EQUIPMENT: Stryker (new in the last year)

SCOPE OF ROLE: Open Heart CST, must be able to scrub Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General and Gyne. When not in an open heart, the traveler will be utilized in general cases.

APPROVED ORIENTATION DATES: 10/19/26 or every other Monday (with the exception of holidays)

NUMBER OF BEDS IN UNIT: 12 beds

PATIENT RATIO: 1:1

SCRUB COLOR: Surgical blue

TRAVELERS SUBMITTED MUST ATTACH REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS OR WILL BE REJECTED

MUST INCLUDE DRIVER'S LICENSE /PERMANENT HOME ADDRESS ON THE SUBMISSION - ADDRESS MUST MATCH ID
