Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Surgical Technician (CVOR CST) for LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA. This onsite 13-week contract starts 9/07/2026 with a day shift schedule (06:00 AM - 02:30 PM). The role emphasizes scrubbing for CVOR cases and requires ALCS/BLS and CVOR experience.

The unit supports 2 OR suites with a team of 6 CSTs/RNs, and the candidate will join a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have scrubbing experience.
• CVOR experience.
• ALCS & BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CVOR scrubbing for CABG, valve replacement, and related procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and support surgeons and CSTs during procedures.
• Provide day shift coverage in the OR and ensure efficient workflow.
