Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment in Tyler, Texas. You will join a dedicated clinical team, providing intensive care in a high-acuity ICU, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of CVICU experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS. This travel role offers 36 hours per week on a night shift with robust staffing support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocols.
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment and monitoring.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and safety.
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU treatments and expectations.
