Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse CVICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Tyler, Texas. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, and provides travel-specific benefits.

The CVICU RN will care for patients after open-heart procedures, administer meds, monitor hemodynamics, and participate in critical care activities in a fast-paced environment. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with 1–2 years' acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor medications effects.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Manage hemodynamics and IV protocols.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care.
