Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Tyler, Texas. The CVICU RN will cover night shifts on a 13-week contract, working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). The role requires a current RN license and ACLS/BLS, with CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities include managing cardiovascular patients, ventilator care, arterial blood gas interpretation, and collaboration with the care team in a fast-paced unit. Travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years CVICU nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state or compact state required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and manage ventilator settings.
• Provide care for patients on ECMO and IABP.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
