Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Cardiovascular ICU RN for a night shift in Kentucky. The role requires CRRT and/or IABP experience and an active RN license (KY or Compact).

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; ADN or ASN is required with BSN preferred. Strong EMR aptitude is expected. You will work in a 20-bed medical ICU with 2:1 patient ratios, caring for patients with cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, and stroke, on a 7p-7a schedule with 3x12s and rotating

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must have CRRT and/or IABP experience
• Strong computer and EMR aptitude with ability to be trained

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients in a 20-bed CV ICU with 2:1 ratios
• Handles cardiac arrest, sepsis, ventilation, stroke, and surgical needs
• Performs CRRT and invasive bedside procedures
• Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 7p–7a; weekends/holidays
• Provide holistic, patient and family-centered nursing care using the nursing process
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for assessments and care planning
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge with patient education
• Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and core measures
• Residence within 75 miles of facility; local candidates accepted at lower rate
