Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a night shift travel assignment in Kentucky. You will work in a 16-bed ICU/CCU with 2:1 patient ratios and monitor tech support, using advanced hemodynamic equipment.

Requirements include active KY or compact RN license, 2+ years ICU/CCU experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, and US SSN/DOB. Flexible scheduling and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active KY or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke.
• Strong critical thinking and self-motivation required.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in past 12 months.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• 16-bed ICU/CCU unit; patient ratios of 2:1, with occasional 3:1 assignments.
• Unit staffing includes monitor tech, with additional tech support based on census.
• Uses Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Documentation via Meditech.
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; 36 hours per week.
• Floating required in rotation with core staff.
• Central line and dialysis catheter insertions performed on unit.
• Team-oriented environment with a mix of experienced day and night shift staff.
• Flexible scheduling options available.
• Daisy Award recognition; participates in community initiatives such as blankets for hospice patients.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
