A healthcare staffing organization is seeking a Surgical Tech for a 13-week assignment in Reno, NV. The role involves assisting in the perioperative care of patients under the supervision of a primary surgeon. Candidates need a High School diploma, BBLS Certification, and preferably some scrub experience in an acute care setting. Job Description

Under direct guidance and or supervision of the primary operative surgeon, assists in the perioperative care of patients, in surgery, and performs duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Training

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist training program preferred.
• Graduate of a recognized Certified Surgical First Assist program.
• BBLS Certification (AHA only).
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Minimum of one year surgical scrub experience in an acute care setting preferred.
