Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Washington, DC. The role requires trauma and stroke imaging experience with a 13-week contract and 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include operating CT and radiographic equipment, reviewing orders, collecting data, and ensuring high-quality images while limiting radiation exposure. Cerner is used; licensure and ARRT standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke imaging required.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
• BLS and ARRT certification required.
• Current State/District license required (if applicable).
• Cerner experience required.
• Ability to analyze body habitus and adjust technical factors and positioning accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors.
• Review physician orders and obtain clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Assist physicians during procedures including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and codes.
• Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
