Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Washington, DC. The role is with a partnering hospital and offers 13 weeks of work with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights.

Candidates should have ARRT credentials, CT experience, and a radiologic technology degree. The contract includes medical benefits, travel support, and a competitive weekly pay range.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
