Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. This role supports trauma and stroke imaging with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a rotating schedule.

Candidates must have 2+ years of trauma/stroke experience, ARRT, state license, radiologic technology program, and BLS. An Associate's degree is required, and references are preferred from the most recent employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke cases required
• Associate's Degree or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ARRT certification required
• Current State/District license required if applicable
• Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the last 12 months preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, adjusting technical factors based on patient body habitus
• Position patients correctly and review physician orders to obtain pertinent clinical data
• Produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self
• Assist physicians during procedures including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and code response
• Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility
