Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week, including Friday 9a-9:30p, Saturday 7a-7p, and Sunday 9a-9:30p in the hospital CT department with occasional X-ray duties.

Services are for travel assignments across facilities; start date Sep 28, 2026; candidates must meet ARRT CT, BLS, and state licensure requirements and have references from prior employers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of trauma and stroke experience required.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
  • BLS certification required (AHA only).
  • ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required.
  • Current State/District license required if applicable.
  • Must have prior work experience in a United States hospital in the specialty area.
  • Two manager or supervisor references required, with at least one from the most recent employer.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, adjusting technical factors and positioning patients.
  • Review physician orders and obtain clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and managing contrast reactions and codes.
  • Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
  • Must live 100 miles or more from the facility; no local candidates accepted.
