Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Washington, District of Columbia. The role offers a 13-week contract with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour night shifts, within a partnering hospital and opportunities for extension.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, CT imaging experience, and a current state license, plus BLS (ACLS preferred) and 1–2 years of radiology experience. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
