Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center. The candidate must hold ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications with at least 1 year of experience.

Work includes trauma imaging across adult and pediatric populations, 3x12 weekend nights, on-call shifts, and using GE PACS systems with contrast administration and 3D post-processing.

This assignment offers housing and travel reimbursements and a non-taxed per diem where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Experience with coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and brain perfusion preferred
• Proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Level II Trauma Center setting including Adult and Pediatric Acute Care, Outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU
• Patient population ranges from infant to geriatric
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• 3x12 weekend block night shifts (Fri 7p-7a, Sat 7p-7a, Sun 7p-7a)
• On-call required approximately 2 shifts per month
• Uses GE equipment and PACS system
• Very busy hospital environment
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
