Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and Level I Trauma experience for a 13-week night shift assignment. The role requires 2+ years CT experience, BLS, and AZ CRT/CTCT licensure. Responsibilities include scanning across Adult and Pediatric settings, contrast administration, and working with GE PACS.

Night shift 7 PM–7:30 AM, no on-call, travel-friendly. Experience with 3D rendering/MPR and Epic EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required.
• AZ state licensure CRT and CTCT required (license required if applicable).
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ED, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings.
• Proficient in preparation and/or administration of contrast media.
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions.
• Experience with GE equipment and PACS system.

Responsibilities

• Level I Trauma center setting.
• Work across Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ED, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings.
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Performs Abdomen and Pelvis, Chest, Head and Neck, Spine and Musculoskeletal CT studies.
• Performs Coronary CTA, CT arthrography, Myelography, and Vascular CTA.
• Utilizes 3D rendering and Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) for image display and post processing.
• Uses GE equipment and PACS system.
• Epic charting preferred but other EMR experience accepted.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
• No on-call requirement.
• Possible floating as needed.
• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT imaging studies across multiple anatomical regions.
• Preferred experience includes aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography or virtual colonography, and drainage procedures.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers considered only if they have over 2 years of experience and meet all requirements.
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
