Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for CT imaging in Connecticut. The role involves preparing patients, performing radiographic exams, positioning, and adjusting equipment to ensure correct exposure and image quality.

You will monitor patients during procedures, document findings, and maintain proper labeling and archiving of images. Licensure and ARRT registration are required, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensure required by state (CT/NY).
• ARRT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and relieves anxiety by explaining procedures in lay terms.
• Performs radiologic exams according to standards, positioning patients and adjusting equipment for correct exposure.
• Monitors patient during procedures and reports any concerns to Radiologist.
• Maintains labeling, documentation and image transfer to archives; completes tracking steps for each exam.
• Performs related duties as required.
